Dr. Marcus Wallace - Event Chair
Dr. Marcus Wallace is a graduate of Xavier University in New Orleans. He attended George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC and did his residency in Internal Medicine at the LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Wallace is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been a member of the STPH Department of Hospital Medicine since 2016.
Dr. Wallace obtained an MBA with an emphasis in healthcare from the George Washington University School of Business. He has extensive experience and expertise in the areas of improving the healthcare delivery system and reforming healthcare payment.
“As a hospitalist and healthcare executive I have a unique opportunity to deliver on the Triple Aim of improving care for my patients, improving the health of the population of Louisiana and and making the healthcare system more efficient and affordable.”
Dr. Wallace lives in Madisonville with his wife and six children.
